Miller Compressing Company is a family-owned business that was established in 1903. The company is a scrap metals processor. We purchase both ferrous and non-ferrous metals from registered customers, process the materials into a more usable form (by melting the metal to get the exact chemistry makeup needed, torching, shredding, etc), and then sell that material to the customer, according to their specifications. All of our pricing is set by the market price. Metals is a commodity substance, and the price can vary day-to-day. This is a manufacturing company, and our production jobs are union positions, office jobs are non-union. There are about 300 active employees. We have various locations in Milwaukee, Waukesha, Racine, and Lake Bluff, IL.
