Position Overview

We have an opportunity for an Information System Security Manager/Site Lead to support our Navy customer at NAS Patuxent River located in Southern Maryland. This is a unique leadership opportunity for a dynamic program supporting our nation's DoD.

Description

In this position, you will be responsible for directing the activities and workload planning for a team of up to 4 IT/IA professionals in a heterogeneous environment. You will provide oversight on the operations and maintenance of multiple Baseline (PL-1) through Cross Domain Solution (PL-4) networks and manage the programs overarching security program in accordance with RMF. The ISSM/Senior Systems Administrator will have working knowledge and experience involving most of the following systems and processes:

    Providing technical engineering design and operating solutions
  • Manage and maintain a security program in accordance with RMF in a secure environment.
  • Communicating project status verbally and in writing to senior project stakeholders in an effort to sustain customer relationships and team cohesion
  • Oversee and support a mid-sized, critical Information Assurance program, applying Risk Management Framework (RMF) security controls in accordance with government regulatory policies, and maintaining all documentation necessary for system(s) compliance
  • Manage and maintain RMF documentation (SSP, SCTM, POA&M, CONMON, RAR)
  • Lead A&A events.
  • Lead and direct team on the implementation of technical strategies, systems integration, and technology insertion into existing production environments
Qualifications
  • Experience with Risk Management Framework (RMF)/Joint SAP Implementation Guideline (JSIG).
  • Experience authoring RMF ATO packages.
  • Familiarity with PL-1 - 4 secure systems/networks, Windows.
  • Knowledge of Linux/UNIX based systems.
  • Background managing Microsoft Servers based environments (Windows 2008 - 2016)
  • Knowledge of Microsoft Exchange Server technology.
  • Demonstrated experience as a technical manager focusing on the implementation of technical strategies, systems integration, and technology insertion into existing production environments.
  • Demonstrated experience performing software and platform integration, and technical applications testing, configuration, and deployment.
  • Experience with SharePoint infrastructure and Internet Information Server (IIS).
  • Ability to conduct vulnerability assessments using ACAS, Defense information Systems Agency (DISA) STIGs, and Security Content Automation Protocol (SCAP)
  • Ability to perform software and platform integration, and technical applications testing, configuration, and deployment
  • Demonstrated experience developing technical solutions in support of customer requirements
  • Must have proven leadership experience by having managed mid-scale IT projects involving technical IT solutions
  • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university in Computer Information Systems, Cyber Security or a related field or equivalent experience.
  • Must be IAT Level II compliant
Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active DoD Top Secret clearance. Candidates must be SCI eligible and meet DoD 8570 IAT/IAM II requirements.
