Position Overview

This position will support a federal civilian customer in the Washington, DC Metro Area. This role is dependent upon award of contract and funding.

The successful candidate is creative, fast on their feet, and self-driven. Candidates must also have an active SECRET security clearance and previous experience working in the federal space.
Description

What You'll Do:

Build and manage a team focused on proactively integrating and optimizing processes across the contract functions

Manage the scope of the overall task order and ensure all contractor employees comply with customer requirements

Serve as the primary point of contact when interacting with the Contracting Officer (CO), Contracting Officer Representative (COR), and federal executives and managers

Develop and implement a program management plan outlining tactics to administer, monitor and control the program requirements from award through implementation (from approach to monitoring, scope, milestones, deliverables, resource allocation, quality control and risk management)

Maintain overall control and communicate with contractor personnel during tasks and project implementations and shall provide oral and written progress updates to appropriate federal managers, as required during implementation and deployment

Qualifications

Who You Are:

Prior program management experience required in a federal space

Working knowledge of the Communications and Project Management Body of Knowledge (PMBOK) training and expertise to oversee communications support services: SharePoint Development, Website Design and Maintenance, Audit Support, Technical Writing, New and Social Media Communications, Graphic Design, Correspondence Management, Strategic Planning, IT Service Program Communications Support, Performance Management System Design and Performance Management Communications Support.

While this requires a TOP SECRET clearance, eligibility for TS/SCI is ideal

Experience:

14 Years total experience, including 10 Years of management experience and 4 Years of specialty experience supporting IT system and program communication

BS/BA Degree

Project Management Professional (PMP) Certification or any higher education degrees from an accredited university, including a Juris Doctorate (J.D.), Masters of Business Administrative (MBA), or PhD

Security Clearance

This position will require U.S. citizenship and an active Top Secret clearance.
