Position Overview

ZENETEX specializes in management and technology support services for a variety of federal agencies and commercial organizations. We have an opportunity for a Software Developer Associate/Junior Technical Analyst to support our NAVSUP customer in Philadelphia, PA.

Please note: due to the nature of this work, this position will require the ability to obtain a U.S. Government clearance; the ability to obtain this Government clearance will require U.S. citizenship.

Description

The Software Developer Associate will support the International Security Cooperation and Foreign Military Sales (FMS) program at the NAVSUP in Northeast Philadelphia. Responsibilities will focus on the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancing existing software. The Software Developer Associate will be expected to support various needs across logistics and financial databases, and the supporting automated business management information systems. Tasking may include:

    Test and evaluation for security, design, localization, and performance using systems such as static design and conformance tools
  • Assists in the design and coding of software product components, units, and modules according to detailed specifications
  • Participates in the design, coding, testing, and debugging of new software or enhancing existing software
  • Participates in the analysis and development of test plans
  • Analyzes test results and recommends corrections to more experienced software engineers
  • Troubleshoots problems and provides customer support for software operating system and application issues
  • Maintains current knowledge of relevant technology as assigned
  • Participates in special projects as assigned
Qualifications

Education/Certifications

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related area of study
  • CompTIA Security+ certification will be required within 6 months of hire date if not already held. Other certifications may be required in the future.

Experience

  • 0-2 years of technical experience
  • Experience in high technology areas such as application development, web applications, database development and design, web services, or console applications using tools such as C#, Java, JQuery, MVC,ASP.NET, HTML, JavaScript, CSS ,MS Visual Studio
Security Clearance
  • This position will require U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass an in-depth government background check in order to obtain a DoD Public Trust clearance.
