Advantage Resourcing seeks a dedicated Senior Buyer to join our team in Franklin, KY, supporting a local automotive manufacturer.

Pay: $24/hr

Hours: 8 am - 5 pm

Responsibilities:

• Prepare, evaluate, and negotiate technical requests for quotation documents.
• Acquire materials, supplies, and services, maintaining communication with stakeholders and suppliers.
• Provide cost analysis data for strategic decision making.
• Manage new model material readiness projects.
• Foster a "Development Partner" philosophy with suppliers.
• Implement Supplier Performance measures for quality, cost, and delivery improvements.
• Conduct market research and evaluate new technology options.
• Develop project resources and mobilization plans.
• Approve purchase orders in management's absence.

Requirements:

• AS/AA in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related field, or 1+ years of relevant experience.
• BS in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or related STEM discipline, or 3+ years of relevant experience.
• Previous project management or team leadership experience.
• Working knowledge of budgeting methods and financial controls.
• Ability to lead productive meetings and direct staff activities.
• Familiarity with exchange rate conversions and raw material indices.
