Looking for a Paralegal for Nashville

The Paralegal will assist the Risk Manager and support our business units by reviewing contracts, analyzing data, researching claims and providing general legal support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide Paralegal support for litigation and contract management.
  • Help draft, review, and negotiate legal documents across a wide variety of categories
  • Develop a thorough knowledge and understanding of all company business segments to better advise and provide legal and contractual support
  • Identify legal and business risks, work with appropriate colleague to find targeted solutions to those risks, and implement risk mitigation measures
  • Coordinate with Risk Manager to provide legal guidance
  • Utilize available technologies and tools to improve and promote efficiency, consistency, and compliance with legal, regulatory, and business requirements
  • Perform a variety of administrative tasks such as preparing correspondence, maintaining files, making telephone calls, etc.

An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements :

  • Paralegal Certificate from ABA certified program or undergraduate degree from an accredited university.
  • Minimum 3 years of law firm or in-house experience with litigation, transactional, and/or corporate governance legal experience preferred.
  • Experience with architecture, engineering, and/or construction a plus.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Word, Outlook, Excel, Teams, PowerPoint, etc.
  • Strong written, verbal, and social communication skills.
  • Exceptional organizational, time management, planning and multi-tasking skills.
  • Must possess sound judgment, confidence, and collaborative problem-solving skills.
