The Ideal Candidate

The Quality Assurance Supervisor will be responsible for implementing and maintaining standards and best collaborative practices in all testing efforts. They will work with PMO and development teams to ensure adherence to all standards and policies. The Supervisor will work with Operations to ensure a usable product is delivered and any issues are cleared communicated to the appropriate team for triage and or remediation. Work with other DevOps engineers and teams' members to build correct and consistent processes.

How You Will Make an Impact

• Possess extensive product knowledge (SME).
• Primary escalation point for QA Engineers and Senior QA Engineers.
• Define Test Strategy and Approach.
• Allocate project tasks to team members.
• Provide guidance and mentorship to QA Engineers and Senior QA Engineers.
• Oversee and participate in testing initiatives, including new features, regression, and E2E testing.
• Author test case that includes precise steps, ensuring both happy path and negative testing is covered.
• Concisely document defects within Jira.
• Deliver QA metrics to QA leadership.
• Contribute insights and recommendations for Proof of Concepts and proposed initiatives related to projects or applications.
• Conduct interviews with prospective QA Engineer candidates.
• Assume overall responsibility for the success of the team and project you are leading.
• Monitor and enforce adherence to QA Best Practices within the team.
• Collaborate with Product and Development teams to strategically plan Release work, considering QA availability and resource allocation.
• Deployment planning.
• Provide analysis and reporting of Oracle data using Oracle SQL.

Experience and Skills You'll Need to Have

• Bachelor's degree in related field of study preferred QA Retail background preferred.
• 2-3+ years of experience with Linux in an enterprise environment.
• Must be able to lead projects and drive them to completion.
• Ability to prioritize and provide timely resolution to issues and requests.
• Well-organized, efficient, detail-oriented, and able to work independently and as a member of a team.
• Must possess excellent written and verbal communication, interpersonal and presentation skills.
• Ability to analyze complex relationships and configurations and summarize results clearly.
• Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced dynamic environment with changing priorities.
• Understanding of basic networking.
• Understanding of the Software development lifecycle.
• Experience with source control/repository (Subversion, CVS/Github).
• Understanding of automation tools and methods.
