If you are in Middle Tennessee, you will have the flexibility to work remotely* as you take on some tough challenges.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Oversee performance of end-to-end provider servicing
  • Resolve complex problems and provide guidance to members of own team
  • Drive the design and implementation of programs that build / nurture positive relationships between the health plan, providers, and practice managers
  • Ensure implementation of training and education programs for external providers
  • Identify gaps in network composition and services to assist network contracting and development teams
  • Execute on departmental plans and priorities to address business and operational challenges

Required Qualifications:

  • 3+ years of provider relations experience
  • 3+ years of experience with Medicare and Medicaid regulations (preferably TennCare Medicaid)
  • 2+ years of experience with managed care
  • Experience / knowledge of behavioral health
  • At least an intermediate level of knowledge of billing and claims processing
  • Proficiency in MS Word, PowerPoint, Excel
  • Ability to travel locally 25-50% to Behavioral Health Provider Offices and Facilities
  • Must reside in Middle TN


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Contracting experience
  • Salesforce experience
  • Proven to be a self-starter; able to work independently with minimum supervision
  • Proven solid verbal and written communication skills
