Looking for a Building Enclosure CADD Specialist

Key Responsibilities:

• Receives, organizes and reviews as-built information provided by Mechanical, Electrical, Plumbing, Fire Protection and Telecommunications contractors
• Manipulates as-built information, improves readability and merges into into Master files
• Uses mark-ups as provided by a principal or senior engineer/designer to develop design layouts
• Reviews drawings and makes changes according to redlines * Implements design requirements as related by design team
• Utilizes industry software to indicate on drawings where equipment, outlets, and other design elements should be placed
• Ensures all drawings are prepared efficiently with accuracy and neatness
• Communicates with team members, project managers, other disciplines, as well as outside contractors and vendors to obtain necessary information for drawings
• Performs on-site observations during construction and coordinates design requirements with contractors and equipment suppliers under the direction of design team
• Attends project planning meetings with project managers and team members as needed

An ideal candidate will possess the following requirements :

• Associates or technical degree in engineering drafting/CADD operation or equivalent experience
• Two years of experience in drafting or related field
• AutoCAD Certification preferred
• Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite (i.e., Word, Excel, and Outlook)
• Knowledge of industry specific software (i.e., Revit and AutoCAD, Bluebeam)

• Experience with roof, wall, glazing, and waterproofing systems preferred.
