The engineering summer internship is designed to provide an engineering student with a range of summer internship experiences. The summer internship may include one or more of the following:

• Working with the Engineering Lab Manager to test lab equipment, re-stock lab kits. Students will be trained to use Innovation Lab equipment for various projects.
• Working with the BEST hub leadership to support the BEST program by building kits, helping with the field build, and other tasks.
• Working with Dr. Kirsten Dodson to help run hands-on engineering during the summer scholars program in July
• Work with Dr. Weeden-Wright providing hands-on engineering experience to AERO students in July and early August

Applicants who apply should

• Be an active engineering student or a student in a related field
• Have a strong background in math
• Be enthusiastic and self-motivated
